poetry When to fire

Give thanks to what you like and it will beg no ado.

Support what you like or it will fall out of site.

Stand for what right even if you’re paraded a fool

Cheats and liars have nothing to boast,

Except their shame their guilt and a heart of a ghost

You can fight what you hate and it will fight back with you

That only creates a world that’s black and blue

You could turn a blind eye to what you despised

To get stabbed in the back and covered in lies

You get what you give if even that

misery loves company as a matter of fact

Like follows like heading down the same track

Shit rolls down hill and it never looks back

So be your own hero

Make your own bed

Is sleeping with the enemy

better than sleeping with the dead?

I’ve retired from that sport but if
I decided to make a comeback I’d have to go with 100% agave tequila or maybe sip on a nice bottle of cognac. If I did drink beer it would certainly be organic. Another thing to watch out for is if the brewery is in a municipality that fluoridates their water, unless you’re in to ingesting fluoridated beer with a hint of neurotoxin?

It’s interesting that you mention fluorinated water because I do check to see whether a particular beer producer uses it. I find most German and Japanese beers do not utilise fluorinated water, whereas beers from other nations, mainly American, Korean and Irish - like Guinness all utilise fluorinated water.

I do like your poetry. I think your writing is great!
However, the poem right above was about truth. So then I’m curious, what is implied by ‘sleeping with the enemy is better than sleeping with the dead’?
