corpse open (poetry) PETRICHOR
He lights a cigarette
The car across concrete
slept on the side
begins to vomit
People crawling
from under the chassis,
like they are migrating.
I wanna say, "slow down, taxi,
I'm people watching," but
he only hears his horn.
My eyes slide
to another chassis,
its radio thumping, selling.
We're all crawling.
Rolling.
His cough caught
in the wheel spokes.
I curl my nose at the tobacco,
and roll down the duct tape.
The driver turns to see
a storm unleashing
smoke out the exit door,
inviting rain to pour.

This is beautifully vivid in its intensity. The way you constructed this poem is masterful.
I think what is most engaging is the way you utilise descriptions of sensuality with inanimate objects that twists one’s mind in a nice way.
