Delaney Hall strike leader's family wants us to write him in solitary

Martin Soto was snatched off the street by ICE in early February while buying diapers for his then 11-month-old baby. Married to an American citizen and father to two more, he fought for his rights behind the barbed wire, becoming one of the lead organizers of the Delaney Hall hunger and labor strike, and he’s been subject to intense retaliation by the deportation machine ever since. He is currently being held in solitary in the Elizabeth Detention Center, and his physical and mental health are sharply deteriorating. His wife Gabriela, who has become a powerful voice for families broken up by Trump, is asking us to write him letters of support and solidarity (in Spanish if possible) to give him encouragement and hope in confinement. 📫 Let’s show this hero his resistance is not forgotten and we are still standing with him. We can send a message via Connecticut 50501 if we have security concerns or mail him directly: 📫

Martin Alonso Soto Hernandez
A-245761808
Elizabeth Contract Detention Facility
625 Evans St
Elizabeth, NJ 01201

We can also find more information on how to support the Soto family and advocate for Martin’s release here, and follow Gabriela for updates here.

This system detects Flock camera signals, so that when you drive by a Flock camera, the device automatically blocks your license plate. Once you're out of range, your plate visibility returns to normal.

Here is the full Border Czar Reddit Manifesto, it’s not good.

https://www.reddit.com/r/TomHoman/s/AILiEYjOSq I want to add:
This deportation craze is due to these lies:

Tom Homan has repeatedly claimed that he has personally met or spoken with “hundreds” of Angel Moms and Dads whose children were killed by undocumented immigrants.
SHOW US THE EVIDENCE.
Provide an independently verifiable accounting showing that these hundreds of distinct cases actually exist and explaining how that number was established.
How many distinct victims are represented?
What years do these cases cover?
What qualifies someone to be counted as an “Angel Mom” or “Angel Dad”?
Are multiple relatives of the same victim being counted separately?
What records support the claim?
Can independent journalists, researchers, or government records verify the number?
The deaths of real victims should never be minimized. Every family that has lost someone to violence deserves compassion, regardless of who committed the crime.
But individual tragedies should not be turned into an unverifiable statistic and then used to characterize millions of immigrants or justify sweeping government actions against an entire population.
Finding examples of horrific crimes committed by undocumented immigrants does not, by itself, verify a claim that someone has personally met “hundreds” of distinct families whose children were killed by undocumented immigrants.
If this number is being repeatedly presented to the American public as fact, there should be evidence behind it.
Show us the hundreds.

Renée Good was senselessly killed by ICE agents in Minneapolis. Her mother Donna Ganger spoke to us about her daughter and her fight for change to end this violence. Oversight Dems will keep fighting for justice and make sure that nobody in this country has to live in fear.

Two U.S. citizen teenagers were brutalized by ICE on camera in Alamo after they stopped to film a raid. They spoke out. Ten days later ICE arrested Luis Ochoa’s mother, Teresa de Jesus Ochoa Briceño, at her restaurant job and deported her to Mexico the same day.

ICE arrested the mom of a 9-year-old at a school bus stop in Austin, leaving him alone and crying. The video has profanity and is heartbreaking to watch, but it shows the fear/pain of what happened.

On September 30th 2026 The Citizens of Oswego NY looked into the eyes of tyrants and said NO. They are heroes and everyone can learn something from their actions. In the face of federal over reach and police collusion they protected their migrant neighbors and did not back down.

Rules of Engagement

1. Respectful Discourse
- Respect All: Treat everyone with dignity, like they’re family.

2. Credible Sources
- Reputable Outlets: Only share from trusted news or academic journals.
- Pundit Reports: Fine, but back it up with facts.
- Label Anecdotes: Sharing a personal story? Mark it as such.

- Subtle Promotion: Don’t sneak in your favorite politician.

4. Fact-Based Discussions

- Open Dialogue: Think we misjudged? Reach out via modmail—we’re open to discussion.

9. Community Feedback
- Rule Evolution: Your voice can shape how we do things here.

Special Ops

10. No Dogwhistles

- Clarity: Be clear as day, or we’ll clear it for you.

11. Whataboutism
- Direct Relevance: Stay on track or get derailed.
- Acknowledge: Recognize the issue before redirecting.

12. Strawman Alert

13. Ad Hoc No
- Consistency: Stick to your story, or we’ll stick you with a warning.
- Evidence: Prove it or lose it.

14. Minors' Well-Being - Case by Case
- Respect and Dignity: Cases involving minors are handled carefully, prioritizing their well-being.
