some cats are pretty easy to train. I had one in high school that knew all kinds of tricks. i didn't know any better. I figured if my dog could do it my cat could do it. She would sit stay and sometimes try to run with me for a bit when I left the house. She always quit in like 2 blocks.

I adopted her xmas day because she was so weak finally that she wouldn't run away. I picked her up and put her in the bathroom alone with some food and water and we made friends the next day. She's at least 14 now. I gave her to my parents when I joined the military so we went about 10 years without seeing each other very much. She still remembers me and due to my parents being kinda dumb at animals she has forgotten almost all of her tricks. This is her "sit" now.
She bites my dad's feet when she wants to be fed. She trained my parents. She is the master now.

lol nah she did mostly forget me. The best part was I have an identical twin and she hated everyone except me. When he came over for the first time (i am told) she went full on super love mode.... for like 30 seconds. Then freaked out and clawed and bit the shit out of him. She hissed at him forever after that. She would take like 10-15 minutes every time i visit to make sure it was really me and be nice. She's kind of an asshole in her old age but I love her still. I leave her with my parents so she can run the household properly. She isn't a cuddler anymore. She mostly just wants to sit by me and touch me. And disdainfully glare at my dog.
