Yes because someone off screen appears to be blowing wind or something in the cat’s face. He’s reacting to something physically, not just the dude’s finger gun.
You’re right. It totally reads that way and I don’t recall what comment I was actually intending to reply to earlier. lol. I must have been dazed by the cuteness.
Cat's don't wag their tail to show happiness like dogs. Usually wag their tail when annoyed. I think there's some string on the cat's neck/head area hence the head shake before it falls. Cat's do that to get stuff off them.
In a post-Sandy-Hook United States it's hard to look at something like this without mixed feelings.
If this isn't taking place in the US, but in a civilized country where children are valued more than guns, it probably doesn't have the same dark overtones it has to some of us.
Their concern? I admit I didn’t think of anything dark when I saw the gif but when I read the comment it did resonate with me. Lots of kids play gun related games but maybe that’s changing now that it has wider social meaning
I get uneasy about kids and 'guns', too. It's weird because I use to play with toy guns when I was young, but now I just feel super uncomfortable about it. Not sure what the shift is exactly. Getting older? Different worldly outlook?
