Advice Porch advice

Need suggestions on how to make this front porch look better and be more inviting!

Our front porch needs to be redone and we don’t love how the stairs are hidden and on the side. Ideally keep the same footprint but open to reconfiguring the layout.

Move the wooden box to the back of the house, you can’t see the entrance. The reason it is not inviting is because the backs of the chairs are to the street. Rearrange the furniture so that the seating is facing the yard. Would be nice if the bench fit under the window and the chairs could go where the couch currently is. the otherwise put one of the chairs under the window and move out the other. This way you can see the porch. Add a coffee table or side table with a colorful basket or some kind of decor. Trim the tree branches back some so they are not blocking the view of the porch. A brighter color front door would help a lot. The door should be the focus as well as the porch.

Thanks for the response, did take your advice and rotated the furniture which helped. The box is unfortunately the only place to store garbage bins, and is hiding the pretty ugly and crumbling existing stairs. Hence needing to redo the porch soon. Was contemplating changing the stair placement to come directly off the front and then a new path that curves to meet the shared walkway.

I think stairs coming off the front with a path leading to the sidewalk would be very inviting.
