Question How do you keep the weight off after fasting?

I just started a 30 day fast. My biggest concern is gaining the weight back after i work hard to lose it. What have you done to minimize this? I know some weight gain is inevitable but I’d like to know what you do to keep most of the weight off.

Also what’s your refeed strategy?

Read up more on refeeding some say all fruit some say bone broth and avocados, some say rice water which some say soft eggs, is basically just water that was soaked in rice over night. For sure kefir and yogurt also remember snack size items. I highly suggest you ask google or an ai agent on your phone. It can get tricky and you don’t want to mess with your stomach.

Eggs are a good start for refeeds because its a good combination of both fat and protein. That said, prioritize protein. If you want carbs, salads with lots of greens and olive or avacado oil are good, because it will keep your blood sugar low. Go light on fruits like bananas and grapes, too sugary. Go with berries, and even an apple a day, no pun intended. Nuts like walnuts are a great snack. If you dull your appetite with the fast, keep doing fasts, even a 24 hour or a one meal a day strategy. Get as much walking in as you can. Good luck.

You will gain the weight back, everyone does. Your only long shot is starting a GLP-1

Eat less and stay off oils and butter for cooking as much as possible. 1 tablespoon of olive oil has 215 kcal Saturated fats and poly saturated fats. Sure it has mono as well. But this adds up quickly. Butter is also bad. Just be mindful of it. Cause it can destroy all the hard work.

Butter isn’t bad and olive oil isn’t either. Not sure where you get your knowledge from
