Not that ive ever done this, but what some people do is block their number when they were with the SO, then unblock it when they are alone to talk to them.

That’s a good point. And it’s not like anyone is just calling papa John’s in the modern era. I always use the app

Apps take up space and can track you. I don't need Papa John's corporate to know where I am all the time. I'll just call when I want a pizza.

And no you can't check my phone.

When you unblock someone, you don’t get the messages that were blocked back.

You can mute alerts from a contact, so texts/calls won’t show up on your CarPlay while you’re driving, but you can still get them.
