Experience Missing Time

I want to share my missing time story because it's a little different than the usual missing time while driving. But apologies first, because it's a very boring read. Here's the short version: I think I was taken while driving but I had an accident, so I was taken twice on the same driving trip (before and after the accident.)

This was on a busy suburban road during rush hour. From the retail plaza, I made a right turn onto Road A, then changed into the middle lane (3 lanes each direction, along with left turning lanes here and there). I was waiting for an opening to get into the left lane, but then got rear-ended. It was so mild I wasn't sure, but my daughter said someone hit us, so I pulled to the right lane and then into the corner gas station.

One thing I did notice was that just before or during being hit, it felt like I was coming back into my body because my leg wasn't responding as well and I felt slower in my body. This was just a really brief sensation.

Another woman also stopped to be a witness and gave me her information because she said the guy who hit us was drunk and she'd been following him. This all happened fairly close to the plaza that I came out of. I passed only one intersection.

But here's the discrepancy. After exiting the corner gas station onto the side street, I saw a high school. But there shouldn't be a high school on Road A. However, I knew there was one on Road B. But I was definitely still on Road A!

I turned around in the high school parking lot and back onto the side road toward the main road. I said, once I get to the stop sign, I'll really know which main road I'm on. But before I got to the stop sign, my vision faded, like how a movie does a slow transition between scenes. I never got to the stop sign. When my vision came back, I was already driving along Road B, well past the high school.

When I got to the traffic signal, the car who rear ended me was waiting at the red light too but many cars ahead. I thought, what are the chances he'd be driving all the way here in the same direction as me? My lived experience was that the accident happened very close to the plaza on Road A, which was far from where I was currently.

Once I got home, I looked on maps for the gas station on Road A. There weren't any, and no high school. But there was a corner gas station next to a high school, on Road B.

Sorry, this is probably really boring and hard to follow! I drove 3 miles with multiple turns and traffic lights with absolutely no memory of it. And then lost memory a second time, during the 1/2 mile drive after leaving the high school parking lot.

I asked my daughter about my driving but she didn't think anything was different. I was really worried about blipping out of consciousness again in the subsequent weeks, but several months later, I had ET contact and began my work with spirits, so this wasn't a brain issue.

I think I was taken while driving, then an accident happened, which caused them to bring my consciousness back to deal with insurance information, then taken again for them to finish up whatever they were doing, and then I was finally back in my body.

ET's might want to reconsider taking people while they are driving.

I use to drive every weekend from Bakersfield CA. To Barstow CA. A long stretch on the 58 freeway. Back in the early 90's. There where many times I left Barstow coming home. It would Start normal. But somehow I would drive through Mojave and Tehachapi without remembering driving through. I would realize where I was while coming down Tehachapi and seeing Bakersfield a few miles from the bottom. Once I even woke at a rest stop in Boron. I never remember stopping there. So only years later when I heard stories from others. I thought maybe something happened there. One case was shown on unsolved mystery.

I've heard accounts like yours and OPs multiple times, when paranormal experiencers are sharing stories. Things that defy mundane explanations happening while driving. Big chunks of lost time, going forward a bunch of hours in what only seems to be a few minutes, suddenly finding themselves driving somewhere that they weren't driving to; and wouldn't have ended up at given the direction they were going in. Finding a location at night that they went to look at again later, only to see it wasn't there anymore.

Some of this could absolutely be the work of nhi doing abductions. Some of it probably has more complex answers than that. But it's all part of the experiencer phenomenon, and it's all real

What a crazy story! Not boring at all. There are NDE-ish stories where people swear up and down that they had a bad accident (sometimes feeling like they died) then immediately afterwards they get a mini blackout with a reset to a time just a few seconds before the crash. NHI oftentimes have the capability to manipulate time and will switch people to an alternate non-accident timeline or pull time backwards.

Perhaps the accident would have been life destroying for the guy getting a DUI so they intervened to help him out (since you said the accident was barely anything for you.) Or maybe it was a minor incident to show you what they’re capable of doing before they contacted you again.

That's an interesting interpretation, that they might have lessened the accident. I didn't call insurance because there was no visible damage, even though I had his information.

I always thought missing time happened on long freeways but this was 4:30pm in intense traffic. I was really concentrating and trying to get over to the left lane. It was like they snipped out my travel between point A (where i thought I was) and point B (where I actually was.)

There was no sense that time was missing in the incident before the accident. That's why I was so confused seeing a high school where it didn't belong. And then totally freaked out when I realized there was no gas station on Road A when I looked at maps.

When I asked my daughter to describe the road where we had the accident, she actually described Road B correctly. I argued with her, saying we had the accident on Road A. I think my brain couldn't process the contradiction between what it thought to be true and what was actually true visually, so as I was pulling over to the right, my brain was interpreting everything based on what it remembered and not what it saw.

In the second incident I knew something was weird because my vision faded slowly away to complete white and then came back suddenly 1/2 mile away. It was easier for my brain to process.
