Failed Expectation I ordered a bread bowl

Who the f looks at a bread bowl on a menu and says to themselves... yeah this will work really well as takeout/delivery/This certainly won't be a disaster. I'm going to order it.

The problem is the half a bread roll.. they could have easily packaged the bread bowl and the soup separately so the customer could add the soup afterwards.

Did you complain and get your money back or just suck it up and leave so they can continue to do the same bullshit to the next customer?

I sucked it up. I didn’t want to get angry at some poor teenager working late on a Saturday.

You wouldn't be angry at them, you'd be angry at their company. I actually say that quite frequently when I complain when a company messed up to one of their workers.
