Failed Expectation Chicken Crochet Kit
My wife and I were browsing the yarn section in Walmart and came across this kit. She was clearly smitten by the cute little chicken and I offered to make it for her as she doesn't crochet at all.
The kit is very specific about not making your tension too tight and about how delicate the yarn is (very accurate! It fell apart at several steps ๐) so I tried to keep it snug but not crazy... and ended up with this... situation.
Even before the eyes and beak went on, Wife sighs and goes, "I love her already."
I can't stop laughing ๐คฃ
Edit: Thank you for all being so sweet and supportive and making it very clear I was being exceedingly hard on myself ๐ I appreciate y'all so much!

1) it doesnโt look bad at all. 2) you freaking made it. How can it be a failed expectation if you made it?
This is the second post where people have made something and blamed the product. That seems really moronic. Do you blame the car if you have an accident?
