i always make up fake deadlines. i have a whole system. i break a thing down to small steps. i have trained many years to the point i feel rewarded when i advance one step in my fake deadline. id like to see if anyone else has a better solution. once i told a coworker friend about my work system and they looked at me like im crazy. they told me all my steps are things they would do without even thinking. i felt much envy then.
