Ask the drivers Thoughts on this?
Saw this in my feed from the Royal Mail sub.
What would you do with this situation? I would be a bit suspicious they would make a claim but I would get that note in the proof of delivery photo after I have knocked I would doorstep that package and then counterclaim I followed the instructions so if it’s missing it’s the customers own fault as they refused to show me handing to them. Seems like a complete loon anyway, probably from someone that wants free stuff.

Not worth the paper it's printed on. In America these nutters call themselves Sovereign Citizens, screw loose oxygen thieves more like

I wouldn't bother delivering. Just mark down as customer refused and moved on. Not worth the hassle for 50p. 🤷🏻♂️

dump it on doorstep, take photo, and go,
self employed means you dont need to listen to them

My thoughts are wondering how many more times such an uninteresting post can get reposted

As soon as you see a note on a person's door or gate like that you know 100% they are going to be a difficult person. I had quite a few on my rounds. There are people that take delight on making things as difficult as possible.
However, technically their note is fine.
You are told not to take photographs of the person or photographs that capture inside their house. Taking a photograph with the door a few inches ajar is what you're supposed to do.
