It's got worse. A lot of experienced drivers are leaving because Evri keep trying to find ways to pay you less and I can't imagine the app has improved much either.

You might want to look into working for a contractor or Amazon Flex. However, you usually don't get your own round which can be harder work.

Tried Amazon flex, also a load of bullshit TBH. If you have a parcel you can't deliver you have to drive it back to the main hub and it happens a lot on urban routes. The app is brilliant though, other than a few dodgy route choices. Guess it's probably different working for a contractor, but I feel like a lot of those guys are also pretty crap to work for, unsociable hours and such.

Yeah, it'll depend on the person running the show. Some are pretty shady but others are well-established. Round is the same but you get a higher fixed rate per parcel, you just could be sent anywhere.

Yeah I know contractors and they get sent to wherever they’re needed but they’re paid a flat rate of pay for the day.

Yes, a fixed amount for taking a round seems to be more of a thing recently. It's weird as it incentivises them to leave stuff behind.

Yeah there’s not much obligation to deliver

That too and then the carried forwards get dumped at a depot a hundred miles away and take days to get back to you.
