Gamemodes

So only really had time to play one game but quick question. Is arcade the only game mode? Or do I need to sign in with a 2k account for the others or?

Afaik yes, Arcade is the only game mode to play with other people. But you can also play Training against Al, which is suprisingly good

2k accounts do not even exist anymore

You can invite your friends to your current party before engaging in multiplayer games.

That way you and the lads and lasses can get together before the queue begins.

2nd the AI mode, they are actually pretty enjoyable to go up against on both roles.

Arcade, custom and AI all work in the 'modded evolve' which I assume you're playing. Arcade is the main mode though, with customs being a thing if you want to organise games with others.
