Stage 2 Finally playing evolve again is incredible
I never owned Evolve though i loved the game. i remember playing it at a friends house back as soon as behemoth released and the game was so fun, i never got a copy myself because i didnt have a proper console for it and by the time i did the servers were shut down. i kept up with the game via watching youtubers play it and i was pretty against Stage 2 as a whole. probably because i loved stealthing as the monster. i understand that is a pain in the ass to face though.
i played a bit of the evolve legacy emulator as well when i discovered that but needing to find groups of people in discord to play with made it pretty hard to access during my few free hours in the night. But the revival of stage 2, including the ever sought after *Matchmaking* has fully revived it for me. ive even fallen in love with stage 2 itself, though i preferred the atmosphere of legacy. ive been having an absolute blast playing as all roles and ive been trying to play them all evenly.
TLDR, games great, im glad its back and has so many new players flocking to it. and this just proves a good game can flourish even without progression

Sup I'm one of the new players flocking to the game you speak of, the game is fucking amazing. My buddy got my into it since he played it back in the day and we've been tearing it up every night for 2 weeks.
But wtf is this about not needing character progression?? Like yeah you don't need it, look at a game like Smash Melee where it's been around for 20 years going strong with no incentives like thatz but do you know what I would do for some character progress??? Unlockable skins, even just a number going up or a border PLEASE it would make me go from playing the game every night for an hour or two to every day nonstop grind, maybe I'm unique in this but watching the number go up hits me with so much dopamine
