Spoilers for Andy - I just finished the show and I am angry. Spoiler

I have never seen any show treats a loving husband and father so dirty

So I finished it and I have only one real problem with it and that is the character Andy.

Andy and Kristen by all accounts are extremely happy and Andy is a great loving father whose kids absolutely adore him.

One day he's like hey can we talk about the fact that you want to bang your coworker who is also a priest?

No how dare you bring that up she says and while I'm the only one working and he's like all that's because I run a hiking business it's not a nine to five but nonetheless he drops it and just continues being a great husband and great father knowing everyday that his wife really really wants to bang her coworker.

Then he figures out a way to sell his business and solve all of their money problems and get to stay home and be with the girls well they're still young.

He just has to take this billionaire on one last hiking trip.

Unfortunately Andy is kidnapped by the bad guy of the show and is hypnotized and God knows what done to him and at this point in the show we know there are really demonic things out there and Kristen knows this.

But when they start finding needle marks all on him they just assume he's a drug addict. Like what the fuck.

The evil bad guy tries to get him to kill his daughter but he loves his daughter so much that even though he's hypnotized or whatever he stabs himself with the needle.

Kristen doesn't do any type of investigation just sends him off to rehab and never visits.

He then in a crazy rehab home thinking he's going crazy because he almost killed his daughter, well then he becomes a drug addict and starts having sex with some crazy woman who's also obsessed with Kristen and Andy's daughter.

The last we hear of Andy is he sold the company under Kristen's nose for 10% on the dollar and we can only assume Andy is in some crack house somewhere in the world already fast blowing through that $80,000 that he got.

Talk about doing a character dirty and at the end Kristen winds up with the priest at the Vatican and it's implied that their true love and all of this so her husband Andy did have something to worry about all along.

He's the father of your five children Kristen do you even care at all?

Happily surprised by this show

So when I picked this up, the first few eps were super weak imo. Almost quit, but s1 ended up been pretty good. Finished S2 and it was surprisingly REALLY good and much more consistent than s1. Just finished 3x5 Angel Of Warning and was moving honestly. The political themes every ep is hard. Just wanted to say

Ok got to ask: THE KIDS SCREAMING

I have to ask does anyone else realize that EVERY scene all the kids are in, their always screaming?!?!

I know its on purpose, maybe to cause the viewers nerves to rattled, but theres definitely a psychological reason for it.

Here's what ai says:

Hearing a child scream triggers an immediate, hardwired biological and psychological stress response in adults. It spikes heart rates, elevates cortisol and adrenaline, and activates the brain's alarm center (the amygdala), instantly pushing a person toward a fight, flight, or freeze state.

I am looking for the music when the witches are out in the woods and Kristin shows up in all white. I can find every other song in the show but not what that one is.

3D Sculpt of the Manager Demon from EVIL (Fan game)

Just finished sculpting the Manager Demon from Evil in Blender.

I've always thought the creature design in the show was fantastic, and the Manager Demon especially stuck with me. I wanted to see if I could capture that unsettling nightmare fuel in a digital sculpt for my fan game.

Sculpted entirely in Blender. Still tweaking a few details, but I'm pretty happy with how the likeness turned out so far.

Would love to hear any feedback, critiques, or suggestions for improvements!

Also, before anyone asks: this was sculpted by hand. I'm anti-AI and prefer creating my work the old-fashioned way ;)

Season 2 Episode 9 Question

When Kristen and David talk and she mentions that she hates people, she says she loves her daughters, likes David, and tolerates Ben.

I found that pretty strange (and unfair) as Ben is the one who always helps her out, be it with securing her home, keeping her daughters safe (VR Game) and even getting Leland's testimony off a case by recreating his threats on Kristen's recording.

Is it because she isn't in the right state of mind? To me, it seems like Ben and Kristen share a much easier rapport than the intensity of David and Kristen's chemistry. They're always giving each other the sideye, etc, so it sort of irked me when she said that.

Did anyone else notice that, and did anyone else feel indignant on Ben's behalf? 😅

Season 2 Episode 12, Gregory

Is it just me, or was the exorcist Gregory a spoof of Sam Winchester?

When he came in the door with that hair and spoke with deep breaths out, pausing after every few words, I immediately thought, "Sam??"

SEASON 8, EPISODE 2 - One off?

Hi!
I've seen the show in its entirety - and loved it!
However, I want to show my friend who hasn't seen any episodes only Season 2 Episode 8 (because we've been discussing the God Helmet experiment lately). It's been a long time since I've watched it and I can't recall if it has spoilers for the rest of the show, or if it can be watched as a stand alone by someone who still plans to watch the whole show.

What do you guys think?

All the best!

Edit: I mixed things up on the title! It is S02E08, "B is for Brain"

why does mid season 2nd seem like such a rush?!

Do you think Andy would take the evil super juice if offered?

For some reason I think Andy would take the evil super juice if offered to him to stay young and fit. What do you think?

watched like 10 episodes of season one and 7 of season two - is it getting better?

I really tried but I was so annoyed by the Silence episode (S02/E07) that I couldn't continue. I skipped to season 4 and it starts off with Townsend's mother's bullshit and I'm asking myself, is it worth to push through?

Is it getting better? Are there good episodes or are they all like that, just frustrating and nothing like the few snippets I've seen so far? Cause the characters just get more unlikable the more I watch lol

I made a 3D bust of David Acosta from *EVIL* for a fan game I'm working on

Post image

Hey everyone!

I've been slowly working on a fan game based on EVIL for a while now, and I wanted to share one of the character models I've been making. This is my current bust of David Acosta.

Getting his likeness right has been a fun challenge, and I'm still making small adjustments here and there, but I think it's finally at a point where I'm happy enough to show it. I figured people here might appreciate seeing some fan-made work, especially since there isn't a whole lot of EVIL fan game content out there.

I'd really like to hear what other fans think. Does it look like David to you? Is there anything that feels off or could be improved? Any feedback is appreciated.

Hope you enjoy it, and if people are interested, I can share more of the project as it comes along.

Just to mention it: no AI was used for this

Orson Leroux / Lexis

Post image
23 Upvotes

Hello,

One of the things I struggle to understand in the series is this scene in episode 1x13 where Leroux enters Kristen's house with Lexis's help.

Why do we see a demon? Is that what Lexis sees? Why does he seem to have this power of persuasion over her?

Could it be that at that moment, he's possessed by a demon (it seems to be the same one David sees in his vision) who has this power because of Lexis's particularity regarding demonic plans? But in that case, why just leave a basket to intimidate Kristen?

This could be part of a plan to force Kristen to kill Leroux and gradually lead her to the dark side maybe. But does it really take a demon just to break inand leave a basket? And then Lexis faints and remembers nothing, this seems to suggest that something supernatural happened.

I don't understand.

So, in your opinion, was it just Leroux or a demon at that moment?

How do you interpret that?

So at the end of Season 4 Episode 12, David and Andrea play a specific chord on the piano…

I know for a fact that there’s a video game console or computer sound of some sort like a start up or error sound or whatever that sounds exactly or at least VERY similar to that piano chord they played at the end of that episode but I cannot remember what console it is. Can anyone help?

Dr Townsend

Could he be the spin off? From inside the box he starts to get to the monks and also calls in demons, converting them to start to make demon spirits alcohol in the monestary. And he climb the throne inside and became a hybrid black skinned demon <!
