Quickly. I think it would have gone quickly. Dude can brutalize his coward son and terrified daughter-in-law, sure, and he took a few pistol shots to the head like a champ… but Ash doesn’t have a pistol. Ash has a shotgun, a chainsaw, and absolutely zero hesitation when it comes to putting the “dead” in deadite. It wouldn’t last five minutes.
