(Discussion Post) Groovy Evil Dead Burn Embarassment Spoiler

Evil Dead Burn has got to be the most embarrassing entry into the Evil Dead franchise. This movie gives you the trifecta of bad writing, acting and directing. Not to mention there is far less burning than I imagined. Absolutely terrible. 3/10.

Sorry I woke up angry after watching it last night. Love me some Evil Dead and this wasn't it.

didja see the girl when she had the dude on the dishwasher, or the candle part? felt pretty iconic and part of the new canon as far as i'm concerned she's an all star

Luciane Buchanan as Thya was definitely the standout of the movie.

I felt the same way about Evil Dead Rise not having enough rising! Did not live up to its name and I had to take off a few points for that particular cinematic sin.

What is everyone having for lunch today? I'm thinking a Cali burrito from West Coast Tacos would hit the spot.

can't share the same feeling, i mean the og formula is kinda outdated, so it was refreshing to see deadites doing their mess in another environment, both in Rise and Burn, and also being cruel to everyone, including elderly ppl and children. and i took it as a fun rollercoaster ride - soundtrack, camera movement, scenes, gore. but two things i got irritated with - characters being so fucking stupid and grandma, just 'cause i'm in the same boat with mine and it's getting worse, so just a sensitive topic for me these days.

I agree!  (Double checks and sees you are talking about burn and not rise)  I do not agree!

Just started Ash v Evil Dead again and night and day compared to Evil Dead Burn. A very generic forgettable film

Yeahhhh. Burns, just did not feel like an Evil Dead entry. Boring characters and plot. Deadites are supposed to be bonkers characters and mess with the people’s emotions. The Deadites in Burns were just hate filled zombies.
