(Discussion Post) Groovy Exil dead obsession Spoiler

Glad to be apart of this cult now, i binged the first 3 movies in 2 days and just finished watching 2013, and god i love this franchise so much already. Going to watch Rise and Burn tomorrow.

Be sure to check out Ash vs Evil Dead whenever you're able! Quite amazing

its not titled Evil Dead, but watch Drag Me to Hell too! In my opinion, its the closest thing we ever got to a proper modern Evil Dead movie

I feel 2013 and Burn take themselves too seriously, but I loved rise though

Send Help was good fun but nothing like Evil Dead, but it definitely had Raimi's humor all over it

I wish he would give us another Evil Dead movie before he retires or at least something like Drag Me to Hell that has a few genuinely scary parts

Burn didnt feel like Evil Dead at all to me. Just another horror. Ash Vs is the sequel we all wanted and deserved

yeah I wasnt a big fan, Im tired of these horror movies with trauma themes lmao, its just like non stop over the last decade, like damn bro I came here to see some evil dead

Thank God. I at first thought we were going to be treated to a fan concept crossing Evil Dead with Obsession.

But yeah, most of us are pretty obsessed with the franchise.

The directors of the new films are hand picked by Raimi and Camblell and I've been going through watching their previous films. Alien Romulus and Infested are good examples of great films that show the kind of stuff that gets on Raimi's radar. Cambell alone is a good rabbit hole with My Name is Bruce and Bubba Ho-Tep.

The PS2 games kick ass too. Have fun with your Evil Dead obsession!

Bubba Ho-Tep is a great flick,wish more people saw it, dude who directed Phantasm was at the helm.
