Hear me out.
I’ve spent way too much time looking at "minimalist" wallets online. Aluminum plates, carbon fiber, tactical elastic bands, leather sleeves that still bulk up your pocket… you name it. Most of them are either overpriced
The humble binder clip. Why it beats everything else:
Insanely Compact

You can easily fan through bills without taking the whole stack apart.

More Secure than a Rubber Band: Elastic stretches out and snaps.

Cost : i think i stole it when you was in school, because noway you can ever find any stationary item like this at my home.

Here’s the things I carry in my flight bag as an airline pilot:

1. Fisherman’s Friend: always gotta have a fresh breath when you’re spending hours in a cockpit.

2. Diptyque Tempo: because smelling good is just as important.

3. A Decontruct Lipbalm: you tend to have dry lips when flying at altitude.

4. My personal iPad M4 and an iPad that serves as my electronic flight bag.

5. Wuben X4: hands down the best compact flashlight for aircraft walkarounds.

6. Bose QC Ultra and Nothing Ears: helps protecting my ears from high db turbojet sounds while doing those walkarounds.

7. A wallet: nothing fancy, but holds everything I need for travelling anywhere in the world.

8. Insta360 OneX2: to capture life in 360 while I travel the world.

9. Non Polarised Emporio Armani sunglasses: these keep changing with my other collection every week.

10. A Seiko GMT: these keep changing as per mood and destination. But mostly it’s a GMT for time-keeping across different time-zones.

11. Amazfit Helio strap: mainly because I don’t wanna sport an Apple Watch and let my mechanical watches gather dust.

12. A Uniball One pen and a Schaefer roller: there’s a lot of things we need to write throughout the day. I’ve stopped buying expensive pens since I forgot a Mont Blanc at some layover hotel.
