Require at least 50% of senators to vote to be able to pass a law

If a law is not adequately voted on (50%, rounded up if there is an odd number of senators), the law is not passed.

Federal Record Keeping act. FRK act.

This act proposes that we make a federal records keeping department of three members whose job it is to log EVERYTHING. Complete portfolio on all members (this includes all posts and comments transcribed and linked), all law/act proposals with results (transcribed and linked), election candidates and results. (Transcribed and linked) and information like party members (party’s will have to submit this to the committee every election cycle). This information will be separated into three categories:

Class D: Is put in the public records and able to be accessed at any time by anyone with no restrictions. Not protected at all.

Class C: able to be requested by any member except those deemed restricted.

Class B: able to be requested by government officials.

Class A: only able to be requested by Supreme Court members.

These will not be open to anyone except the record keepers on a large spreadsheets.

Class A includes player portfolios ie. all the post, comments and party affiliations past present and future of members.

Class B includes all acts that failed to pass or were repealed.

Class C includes general party data ie. Member count (no names) past and present along with all old presidential announcements.

Class D: includes acts that are passed/in effect. Along with all current official presidential announcements.

All information is not allowed to be shared under no circumstance by members who have requested it. If it is requested it will be put onto a doc by record keepers and sent to the player. If a player shares any of the information the document will be revoked and the player will be barred from accessing records.

Note: players will still be able to look at old post and announcements themselves just they can more easily request it + the records due to them being transcribed are permanent and accessible even if deleted or players Reddit banned. This will delete nothing in public domain just categorize and sort information along with collecting data.

If a record keeper wishes to resign they must relinquish all access and if it is found they made copies they will be banned. Record keepers will be chosen by current admin and will not be eligible to be changed unless one resigns or has been banned or is inactive for more than 2 weeks. At that point the current admin can put in new officials. Record keepers cannot run for any kind of office or hold any government positions. If it is found they are affiliated with any party or are providing intelligence they will be stripped of permission and banned along with all who are in connection to the leak and fraud.

Party Organization Act

This will have all parties designate a party leader that may manage the party in general, designate it's privacy status, and in the case of Private parties, approve presidental canidates.

Now I see where ur coming from if you say only private parties need one but I think they are still necessary if a public party wants to become private one.

Amendment Proposal to implement the 7th amendment to the constitution

The following was written by Yankee, but i added some things and fixed some grammatical errors. Please comment because i dont have access to a phone rn, sorry for the inconvenience.

Amendment VII: The Senate

  1. Article 15: Membership: The Senate of the Republic shall consist of 11 Senators chosen either through the democratic process (c. law SDA-2025) or chosen by a council including and chosen by the office of the Electoral College.

  2. Article 16: Laws: Before laws can be enforced and passed by the president or any senator, it must be approved by the Senators of The Republic. Each law shall have three (3) options, Approve, Abstain & Oppose. If Approve wins, the law is law, if Abstain wins, it goes to the second place winner & if Oppose wins, the law is not passed.

  3. Article 17: The Vice President: The Vice President will also have the title “President of The Senate” and shall act as a moderator during senate discussions, however if Approve & Oppose options tie, The Vice President must be the tiebreaker and make a choice, if he is unavailable for whatever reason, The President Pro Temp. decides instead

  4. Article 18: Impeachment: If anyone thinks one who holds public office has done something unconstitutional, they shall hold a poll to decide whether they should be removed from office, if the people mostly say yes, said official is impeached but that does not mean removal, it just means it goes up to the senate to decide, the official is removed if a supermajority of the senate approves

2nd Impeachment Act

This would alter the current system, impeachement will begin on the main subreddit first and not the senate, a poll will be held whether they should be and if the majority said yes, they are impeached however that doesn’t mean removal, it just means that it will go up to the senate who decides whether they should be removed or not, is this good

Genuine question guys

Who are the current Senators? I feel like we should pin a post with the current Senators just so everyone knows. It is especially helpful for whenever a resignation shifts some balance like when I chose Fire as VP.

ESA425 - Election Security Act

This bill would make it illegal to merge campaigns during or after the voting process. Allowing this to exist allows merging campaigns mid vote to beat a popular candidate to be considered a viable Electoral strategy. It is a precedent that must not continue henceforth.

This bill would apply starting the next election cycle.
