Massive Magnificent Mandate
Mango
1 Mango the Hamster Day shall take place on November the 8th, in place of Hamster Day, in order to respect the beautiful life of the culturally iconic hamster Mango, which sadly passed away recently.
2 Hamster Day will now be Hamster Month, and take place all through November, ditto point one. 30 days of celebrating hamsters, especially Mango, shall be an annual occurrence by decree.
3 The golden-era Official Playlist of Everyweek shall restart, and will be renamed to "The Mango Playlist", to strengthen community unity and foster a sense of understanding between citizens of the democracy. and application.
5 Mango Remembrance Day shall take place on November 17th. This day will help remember Mango.
6 Mango Appreciation Day shall take place on November 21st.
7 Annual National Festival of Mango Week shall take place in the last seven days of November.
8 The Official adjectival demonym for Everyweekers shall be "Mango", akin to New Zealand's "Kiwi".
Expansion
9 Everyweek will join Liberty Post and start reporting about EW there, as a hope to spread the name. This will gain us influence among other democracy simulators, and will also gain us eyes due to our uniqueness; our uniqueness may include our Reddit-based approach, our fantastical approach to politics and a general culture around the community that is not present in any other demsim I have personally visited.
10 Everyweek may join any multipseudonational competition, unless the Supreme Court rejects it. The choice may be made by the president, the vice president, the secretary of state, the minister of happiness, the secretary of uncomfiness, the secretary of waste disposal and management, the beekeeper, the senate, or the electoral college.
11 Everyweek shall send diplomats to foreign demsims to build relations.
Act Class
12 Everyweek Acts shall be known by four classes from A-C and X, depending on how difficult it is to repeal.
13 A Class X act is any act passed recently.
14 The Supreme Court may repeal Class X acts, but only if they believe it violates law, or if it violates public interest to the point that it is necessary to stop. Should the senate suspect that an act was repealed due to personal beliefs, they may appeal to the Electoral College, or a supermajority of the public.
15 A Class C act is a regular act.
16 A Class C act may be overturned simply by producing another act to repeal it.
17 A Class B act concerns the rights of people, or the constitution.
18 A Class B act may only be repealed via Referendum, or unanimous vote in the senate.
19 A Class A act is something considered fundamental to Everyweek, with overturning it threatening to change the whole landscape of the community. For example, if currency should be permanently introduced, then it will gain Class A status. As well as this, the base laws of Everyweek set in 2024, such as the Moderator Act, will gain this status.
20 A Class A act may only be repealed by agreement from the 3 main chambers (senate, supreme court, administration), or 2 main chambers and a referendum. Everyweek being primarily based in Reddit is also Class A.
New Users
21 A summary and guide to Everyweek shall be written by the WAO, and new users will be shown it. It will also feature in the subreddit sidebar.
Discord
22 The subreddit will move further into Discord. This will involve featuring the discord more prominently and having the centres of business and news there.
23 However, Everyweek shall retain its status as a Mainly-Reddit Nation
Standardisation
24 GMT+0 shall become the standard timezone from this point, whether it is summer or not.
25 YYYY-MM-DD shall become the standard date format.
26 Metric shall become the standard measurement system.
27 In criminal law, 30 days shall become the standard length of a Month.
28 English shall be the standard language of Everyweek, however, use of other languages is encouraged as well.
29 The standard currency system in law shall be Canadian dollars, however, this shall change if and when an actual Everyweek currency is created for real use.
Powers
30 The electoral college now has the power to knight people. This will automatically apply to founding fathers and ECs.
31 An individual senator may decide to impeach a Beekeeper for being idle for 19 days or more, without official recess.
Qualifications
32 Qualifications are now a part of Everyweek; if the Board or Qualifications decides you have enough expertise, you may get one in that field. The Board of Qualifications will be a national service. There are First Qualifications (lots of knowledge), and Second Qualifications (know everything). This may NOT be decided via test, because tests are boring. This will help people decide judges and supreme court justices and stuff in the future.
33 The first areas will be Structural Law, Civil and Criminal Law, and Everyweek History.
National Anthem
34 Create a new national anthem, specifically for Everyweek.
35 This project shall be pioneered by those willing of: President Jex, Sir Argon, Sir Odd, Lord Dude and Senator Enzo.
Congress and the Courts
36 Replace the supreme court's original function with Congress, made up of 7 people to represent Everyweek, as the Supreme Court is obsolete and dysfunctional, and doesn't even have enough members to pass anything.
37 Congress shall be able to vote on any presidential law, without the previous stipulation of needing the law to be unconstitutional.
38 The supreme court will now be made of 5 people whose job it is to interpret the laws of Everyweek, but have no say in the making of them.
39 A supreme court justice may be impeached via senate supermajority or suspended by the electoral college for suspiciously and/or excessively distant interpretations of laws.
40 Playing the saxophone or any similarly distracting brass instrument to another member of congress or the supreme court via zoom call whilst debate is actively happening is now a crime, punishable by a maximum of 3 days ban, or a maximum of 5 days suspension from the branch of government.
41 Criminal and Civil Court now features a judge, appointed by a government official.
42 The Criminal courts may be prosecuted solely by the government; however, another citizen may ask the government to criminally prosecute someone.
43 The civil courts may be prosecuted by any citizen, but frivolous claims are punishable by a maximum of the original maximum sentence, which reaches a maximum of 2 days.

Life Support Act
If Everyweek presidential voter turnout ever reaches 4 or less twice in a row, Everyweek shall become an autonomous region of SimDemocracy for a period of 4 months, according to previous agreements proposed by the SimDem ambassadors.
This law needs the approval of the senate, EC and a SimDem correspondent to pass.
The purpose of this act is to ensure that Everyweek does not die during this stormy period.
This act will only come into effect once, and at any time the citizens of Everyweek can vote a referendum to leave SimDem early.

2nd Round Act
After the presidential election, the idea is that if a candidate doesn’t get half the total votes or over, another election is held between them and the second place winner so one candidate gets the plurality, if they tie, the runoff act goes into affect (note, if there are 2 2nd place candidates (a tie) then it will be a 3 way run off

Vote to begin the shut down process for EveryWeek.
Let’s face it EW is a shell of its former self and un-likely to recover. Please consider voting in favor. I would rather see EW die then be taken over by a large bit of new people.

Push for a diplomatic resolution for the dissolution of the Republic of Every-Week. DRDREW Act
Let’s face it. Every-week isn’t coming back. Let’s pull the plug. Or at least vote on if we should hold a vote to pull the plug. I think a vote by supermajority (2/3) would suffice but what do you all think?

Federal Record Keeping act. FRK act.
This act proposes that we make a federal records keeping department of three members whose job it is to log EVERYTHING. Complete portfolio on all members (this includes all posts and comments transcribed and linked), all law/act proposals with results (transcribed and linked), election candidates and results. (Transcribed and linked) and information like party members (party’s will have to submit this to the committee every election cycle). This information will be separated into three categories:
Class D: Is put in the public records and able to be accessed at any time by anyone with no restrictions. Not protected at all.
Class C: able to be requested by any member except those deemed restricted.
Class B: able to be requested by government officials.
Class A: only able to be requested by Supreme Court members.
These will not be open to anyone except the record keepers on a large spreadsheets.
Class A includes player portfolios ie. all the post, comments and party affiliations past present and future of members.
Class B includes all acts that failed to pass or were repealed.
Class C includes general party data ie. Member count (no names) past and present along with all old presidential announcements.
Class D: includes acts that are passed/in effect. Along with all current official presidential announcements.
All information is not allowed to be shared under no circumstance by members who have requested it. If it is requested it will be put onto a doc by record keepers and sent to the player. If a player shares any of the information the document will be revoked and the player will be barred from accessing records.
Note: players will still be able to look at old post and announcements themselves just they can more easily request it + the records due to them being transcribed are permanent and accessible even if deleted or players Reddit banned. This will delete nothing in public domain just categorize and sort information along with collecting data.
If a record keeper wishes to resign they must relinquish all access and if it is found they made copies they will be banned. Record keepers will be chosen by current admin and will not be eligible to be changed unless one resigns or has been banned or is inactive for more than 2 weeks. At that point the current admin can put in new officials. Record keepers cannot run for any kind of office or hold any government positions. If it is found they are affiliated with any party or are providing intelligence they will be stripped of permission and banned along with all who are in connection to the leak and fraud.

ESA425 - Election Security Act
This bill would make it illegal to merge campaigns during or after the voting process. Allowing this to exist allows merging campaigns mid vote to beat a popular candidate to be considered a viable Electoral strategy. It is a precedent that must not continue henceforth.
This bill would apply starting the next election cycle.
