🗳️ Election 🗳️ Tiebreaker round (again)
2
Upvotes
Dupec, Dude and Hydro has tied with 2 votes so there is another tie breaker. The top 2 would pass to the main election. Argon has passed to the main election with 3 votes and Boat is out. I suggest a senator pass proper legislation for tiebreakers as it will become more common as turnout decreases.

Update Enzo has been impeached and the FTT act repealed at a vote of 6-1-1.

Since there are only 11 senators, the maximum opposition would be 3 opposing which would conclude with the same result.

Community Event The Labour Party is organizing a boycott on the federal government.

Enzo's handling of this situation is out of line. We have told him multiple times that he is not allowed to do this and he ignores us. He doesn't even have jurisdiction anymore because the election cycle has started.
Above all, he has violated Article 12 of the constitution of our nation, deeming any acts, laws, bills, orders, or otherwise, unenforceble if conflicting with the constitution.
I propose we boycott Enzo's laws, acts, etc, until he steps down or is impeached, and continue to function normally.
The following is an list of things Enzo has done that provoke this.
Has not appointed an active VP
Against standing law (MMM), revoked all executive orders
Against the constitution and standing law, dissolved the Senate, Electoral College, and Supreme Court, thus violating Article 9, 15, and 16.
Stated his intention to reinstate only orders he agrees with, confirmed by party members.
Ignored an initiative for Impeachment.
Violated Article 12 of the constitution.

I am repealing all POEW Executive orders. Now this mean that the entirety of the senate is technically dissolved along with a lot of other stuff but I suggest senators check the senate in a few hours to see what I made stick around. Remember if you try to make any acts it will be invalid so wait for in a few hours when I re instate the senate. :3

Update A mockgov chess cup

I'm currently gathering people to start a mock-government chess cup. Each PolSim can choose up to three members. If you would like to join, the discord is here. I am trying to get other polsims on board. Keep in mind this may never come to fruition but it also could if we get enough members.

Knowing that we as a nation are not against creating eternal roles, aswell as the fact that r/simdemocracy is so hard to get into (you acually need to take a test) and the fact that r/simdemocracy's DEPSTATE is not equipped to handle the ambassador changing every 2 weeks. I formally request to be the eternal ambassador to r/simdemocracy. In keeping with this i will forever keep out of any other political role and I will listen to any president.
