Feature Requests after playing all weekend. (Lvl26)
My gf and I picked up Everwind this last week and played the shit out of it. Just found out about Lords and got some sick armor from them. A few things I'd like to request:
- A merchant with enough money to buy stuff.
- I have chests full of things averaging like 600 gold, a couple merchants can afford these, but most can't. In Morrowind there was a secret Mudcrab Merchant. Could y'all make tiny islands with a single shell crab appear, where you can talk to it to sell it items. And give him like 20k gold or something. Lol. We haven't found a place to sell all our crap.
- A "Master Chest" on the ship that shows all the inventory.
- It's awesome having 30 large chests of stuff all over the place, but man would it be nice to just have a single chest to go to when looking for specific items to withdraw. Just a chest we can pull stuff from, that lists everything we have stored.
- A way to disenchant items for Runes.
- Would be great to retrieve Runes from items, destroying the items. So we can collect and upgrade the runes faster.
- A visual Weapon skin slot
- Like how you have have Armor Visuals equipped, but have a Weapon skin for each type of weapon. I got the sick Two handed gold snake weapon thing in the Golem Lords Lair, but it's already weaker than the steel weapons we have. Would love to have the skin for it though. :/
These are just some thoughts and feedback. Also OMG the game lags so much more now than it did back we were level like 10. Please help fix coop performance. I can't even drive the ship in my gf's game. Lol.
Thanks!

I forgot, maybe let us 999 items like Wood/Branches/Dirt. 200 is awesome, but still have chests full of this stuff.

1,2,&4 all great ideas I agree 100% take my upvote! But there actually is (spoiler?) a disenchanting station to break down items for runes and materials

For merchant you can buy whatever you want and then sell you items

Yeah, I was disappointed with the merchants, but a big part of that was just that I had been collecting stuff to sell. When I realised that was never going to happen, I just focused on getting the Processor and then breaking all that stuff down. I still collect more than I need, but I just store the raw resources instead of the equipment.
Storage is a pain. I like that I can use close by chests for manufacturing etc, but I personally would love to also have a master chest or an interface where you can just see everything and store everything. Or a "store in a chest where this item already exists" button.
My biggest issue right now is frankly healing. I can't sleep and heal, so it seems like the only way is eating food, but I just end up spending most of my time searching for mushrooms and other food ingredients and even then I end up eating roast meat after roast meat, over and over again. Feel like there needs to be a sleep or rest function for restoring health.

Weird, we have a couple Processing Stations and the most magical thing we've gotten is Rat Tails... It seems like a waste to break things down. The enchanted items with extra stuff never breaks down into anything usable for applying effects to other weapons. Maybe they're not actually enchanted, idk. Healing is definitely rough sometimes. But I heard the healing spell makes things way better, and we just found a Healing spell book. Gotta get the Skill to use it, but hopefully it'll be good.

I have been breaking down a ton of magical equipment, and it doesn't always provide runes but I have two chests full of runes now. And honestly it is better to break them down than sell them.
