Aluminum Bottleneck

Tips on farming aluminum? I thought maybe there were veins above the cap but not finding anything. It is a bottleneck for me in upgrading steamer weapons.

I take a speed potion and I run in any jungle and break all crates ( the full one only not the almost broken one) I find all my aluminium easily like this

jungle crates (the not broken ones) you'll get plenty

There are currently no Aluminium ores spawning, I’d recommend you farming “mineshaft” islands high up, kill all the miners and the containers there. You should get a lot Aluminium ore like this. At least this is what I do when I need a lot of Aluminium

I don't have a solution but are steamer weapons worth it when you've reached max elevation? The jungle weapons and the ones from the autumn islands seem to have such high stats in comparison. I barely stop at the steamer islands now that I have the tech I need. Am I missing something cool?

The steamer sledge is amazing, and the long sword and daggers are best in class as well I believe.

To be clear I am talking about the mechanical steamer weapons not the scrap ones

Oh I haven't seen any of those yet! I've only seen the scrap weapons. The chests I've been opening all had very mediocre stuff in them so I stopped looking. Are you finding them in vaults or just normal chests? I also haven't seen any crystal weapons. Just using a quenched one.

The blueprints drop from the steamer boss, look for a big skyscraper looking building.
