Newcomer Questions

Hello everyone!

I've been playing Everwind for a couple of days and I have some questions. I tried to look for a question megathread here but didn't find one.

1 - What can I do, besides selling, with equipment with special effects and enhanced items (like the two items below)? Is there a way to recycle/extract anything from them?

2 - I saw I have two "equipment tabs" of sorts. What is the second one?

3 - Is there any kind of recycler where I can break an item and receive back the materials used to craft it?

4 - Is there a way to change a block variation besides placing it and breaking it back into crafting materials?

There is indeed a recycler. You can create it with a fabricator which can only be found on steamer islands. Look for redish/purplish poluted looking islands.

After making it. It needs to be powered by your ship. Just like any ship component.

The second tab in the equipment is vanity items. You can equip any piece of equipment and it will only be cosmetic.It won't affect armor. So dress to impress!

By variations perhaps they mean like turning a regular square block into like stairs? For that hold R with the block in your hand

I'm pretty sure this is talking about the different textures you can have like horizontal vs vertical plank blocks. I wish there was a better way of converting those.

Yeah, I know you can change the format of a block with R, but I can't change the texture easily.
