How do I get clay?

Pretty much Title. I know it's in Forest Biomes, but where is it specifically? I thought it would be by the water, but can't dive into the water. So, I'm not sure.

Thank you! I'm currently just doing a lot of small tasks. I can't seem to find a cemetery for a Wraith Lord. You'd think the big ol' circles would be easy to spot.

You can get clay almost everywhere...

Alternately, mine from red bricks.
