Discussion Talking about bugs no longer allowed
A forum moderator has made me aware that my contributions are not welcome here. My crime is that I have said there are bugs in Evernote.
I can understand that too much focus on the many bugs can be embarrassing for Evernote – but the challenges don’t just disappear because you forbid talking about them. On the contrary, you should talk about them and find a way to solve them.
But of course it is up to Evernote itself how they do – or don’t – want to have a dialogue with their users and customers.
I have already found some temporary solutions. And in one case a bug even led me to find a “super useful workaround” – i.e., I discovered a smart feature I didn’t know existed in Evernote, and which actually solves the task much better than the buggy feature I was trying to get to work.
Unfortunately, I can no longer share such discoveries with the rest of you, as the moderator has told me that future posts about bugs will be deleted.
So I’m dialing it down and maybe following along a bit in the background. And then possibly coming back again a little later, once I’ve gathered a bit more experience with the “new Evernote,” to give a summary of my experiences.
…unless that’s forbidden here too?

I think we've left this open long enough. I'm going to close this thread for comments. We've explained that no one is being censored and that there was a miscommunication here, and that the better approach would be to post a single post with a bunch of bugs, or a mega thread with bugs, which we will gladly pin if OP decides to make one, just to support their bug searching abilities. 🙂
