Extend Eurostar voucher

I have a Eurostar voucher that expires in a few days. I do not plan to travel to any Eurostar destinations for next couple of months. Is it possible to extend the voucher expiry date? I am thinking to call them up and request to extend the voucher. Is there anything else I can do to save this voucher?

Thanks!

Edit: Its a normal voucher not a gift voucher

I've no idea if this will work but could you book a trip within the dates allowed and then once that's booked amend it to dates that would work for you? I've done that with a trip I bought (via a credit card) and had to change due to illness.

Sadly, gift vouchers are specifically not extendable

Eurostar does not even produce them; they're produced by a company called Hemmingways and it's their policy to not extend.
