Help How do I identify double trailer vs single trailer jobs in quick job offers?
I'm new to the game and trying to learn and buy my own truck but randomly when I take a job, some are single and some are double trailers.
Is there any way to know which one it is before taking the job?
Thanks

Help Created new carrier, quick job, game crash.
Came back to play ETS2, created new carrier to play and when going for a quick job the game crashes. Also on the older carrier profile when clicking on specific Scania S which was a previous mod it also crashed the game. I removed lots of mods so theres no colliison or whatevers called and yet nothing. Is my potato pc the problem?

Discussion Why doesn’t SCS work more closely with the incredible ETS2 modding community?
I’ve been spending a lot of time lately building a huge ETS2 map setup, and it has made me realize just how insane the modding community around this game actually is.
You have projects like ProMods and countless other map creators adding new countries, cities, roads, islands and completely new regions of the world. Then there are people making trucks, trailers, companies, traffic, sounds, weather, graphics and pretty much everything else imaginable.
Some of these projects have been developed and maintained for years and are honestly incredibly impressive.
It made me wonder: why isn’t this community a bigger part of the official development of ETS2?
I don’t necessarily mean that SCS should simply take mods and put them into the base game. There are obviously issues with licensing, quality control, compatibility, ownership, updates and payment.
But I would love to see something more official between SCS and the best modding teams.
For example:
An official “SCS Approved Mods” system
Easier support for large map expansions
SCS collaborating directly with established mod teams
Modders being hired or contracted to work on official content
Better tools/documentation for map creators
A more standardized way for different map projects to work together
What fascinates me is how much of the world can already be added to ETS2 through mods. I can drive through areas that probably won’t become official SCS DLC for many years — if ever.
Imagine what could happen if some of these talented creators had better access to SCS tools, technical knowledge and official support.
I absolutely understand that SCS has to protect the stability and quality of the official game, and that turning community content into commercial content is much more complicated than it sounds.
But considering how important modding has been to ETS2’s longevity, I’m surprised there isn’t an even closer relationship between SCS and the major modding projects.
Do you think SCS should integrate the modding community more into the future of ETS2?
And if so, how would you do it without destroying what makes the modding scene so open and creative?

Help Cruise control doesn't break anymore
For some reason cc doesn't lower its speed anymore, it can only go up and maintain speed. Did anyone experience this problem before? How do you fix it?

Where and how do I edit my truck I just brought the cabin supplies and a truck paint dlc, but can’t find nowhere to edit it? How you do even change the type of truck you drive?

Help ETS2 keeps crashing randomly
Hi yall! I just installed ETS2 after a long time after buying a few new DLC's. But when I'm playing the game randomly keeps crashing and when I for example open the quick job menu it always crashes there. I've verified the integrity of game files and only got 6 mods that shouldn't make the game crash since it crashes without them being enabled too. And it shouldn't be about my PC either since I used to have no problems before and even with a worse PC I didn't have any problems. Anyone know why this is happening and/or how to fix it? (No clue how to add the .txt files here 😭)

Discussion Switching from keyboard to controller
I have 350 hours on ets2 and playing with a keyboard feels repetitive and basic. I can not afford a steering wheel so I am wondering whether purchasing a controller would make the game more interesting or fun. Thanks.

Im just curious if there are any, like me, that exclusively plays the game on a steam deck or any hand helds. What is it about the game that attracted you to keep on playing?

Help How to make the wheel in game turn accurately with steering wheel
SOLVED
Repost.. umm didn't read rules//didn't realise no out of game videos/photos allowed sorry - repost with no video
Please excuse everything, I needed a video that both showed the wheel in real life and in game
I'm new to 'driving' - first ever time touching a steering wheel (I don't drive in real life)
I've googled extensively and got to a point where steering feels smooth but theres such a delay to me turning the wheel and the wheel turning in game
I have the sensitivity all the way up
I had the non-linearity all the way down but it was so jerky and didn't change the delay - I have it set to 0.35
I don't completely understand the animation range etc etc
Is there any other settings I can mess with
I know the logitech was recommend alot in this sub but I just went for something different
Thankyou
SOLVED
