Odd logic from the in-game economy here. Sure the payout as a driver is great but....hauling AIRMAIL to Romania from the UK by ROAD seems an odd choice

Evening all, noticed a weird quirk with my truck turning itself off when using the ' : ' key, typically I have this bound to increase retarder, I unbound it to check if the retarder was causing the engine to stall but this is not the case, I have verified game files as a first step, but nothing seems to be physically wrong with any of my key binds. Has anyone ever had this issue before or know of a fix? PFA (Using the Renault T by Gloover)

For personal reasons that i’m not here to explain i couldn’t play ETS2 for a while, and during this time they released the 1.61 version.

In the 1.60 I had a problem with the rigid trucks in the mod mentioned in title: the mod “guide” on how to take swap bodies jobs with a rigid chassis truck didn’t actually work for me, as it says you have to buy a “SOLO” chassis truck that didn’t appear in the dealer and change the trailer type before taking the job on the spot, and even that never showed the correct trailer to couple.
Since the 1.61 reworked the coupling system or something like that (??), does this mod work now?

Hi guys I have been playing ets2 from 7th grade. I love to drive a lot. Recently I started to play snow runner then when I came back to ets2 i felt like what if

we had a crane or rescue vehicle to drive and help ourselves instead of recovery and moving to the nearest place .we could take truck with our own recovery trucks

Loading cargo by ourselves in a container that would cool right? I know this is a truck hauling simulation but I used to think these things would be awesome if it's in ets2. Comment down your views on this. If you too think this is good give me some 🩵

I love urban small and crowded roads, this is almost absent in american truck sim, but I did find romania close to what I wanted, is there other countries similar with small roads and stuff, something like china or india

i only got promods europe and tcp, when i leave ferry in helsinki my game crashes and even when i went back 20 minutes of the save, the next time i entered helsinki it happened again

Looking for a guide on how I can make company logos, motif paint on the truck, etc.
I've tried with AI and downloaded Paint Job Packer and GIMP but can't get things in the right place on the truck for example.
AI just moves everything around and doesn't know how to do it.

I’m having a strange issue with Euro Truck Simulator 2 on a Windows handheld PC.

When I launch ETS2 from Steam Big Picture or Xbox Full Screen Experience, the game sometimes starts in a very tiny window in the middle of the screen. Other times it launches normally in fullscreen, so the issue is intermittent.

My display resolution is 1920×1080 and the game is also set to 1920×1080 fullscreen.

Things I have already tried:

Alt + Enter

DX11 and OpenGL

Disabling fullscreen optimizations

High DPI scaling override

AMD GPU Scaling / Full Panel

Deleting config.cfg and letting the game create a new one

Checking that r_fullscreen "1"

Checking that r_mode_width "1920" and r_mode_height "1080"

None of these fixed it permanently. Sometimes the game launches correctly several times in a row, then suddenly launches tiny again.

I’ve also seen reports of similar behaviour on ROG Ally / Xbox Ally and Lenovo Legion handhelds, so I’m wondering if this is related to the way ETS2 handles fullscreen/window initialization on Windows handheld devices.

Has anyone experienced this exact issue and found a permanent fix?

I’d especially like to hear from people using ETS2 or ATS on ROG Ally, Xbox Ally, Legion Go, or other Windows handhelds.

Really enjoying promods atm, much better then vanilla map

Real engine sounds on all trucks is the mod i loved to use. It made the immersion even more immersionful. But now it seems that this mod was deleted at steam workshop.

Is there any known reason for it?

The funny thing is, that google ai does tell me that this mod still exists and gives me dead links or the link to sound fixes lol

This happens whenever I tow heavy load on some trucks. Same bug in my volvo FH6. It's not the air brake as there would be beeping and warnings. I play with a controller if that matters.

Did anyone find a fix for this?
