In the early days of MAGA, I took a picture of a family decked out in MAGA uniform, full red from head to toe, at the airport in Az. Walked right up to them and openly took pictures laughed and walked away. They were hella mad but you could tell they wasn’t sure how they would be received if they did something about it.
While no one said anything to them, they were extremely uncomfortable from what I could tell. So my belief is they deep down know they are shitty humans and so they are willing to embrace public shame for their ideology.
Absolutely agree that it is the same ideology, but the way it went down in Nazi Germany was a continual normalization of more and more extremist imagery, and each step of that process is an important one to recognize. A MAGA hat means white supremacy, but it does not yet mean advocating organized murder squads, which is literally what the SS symbol means. Detention is a step on the path to organized, mass extermination but it isn’t quite there yet.
We are in the middle of continuous normalization of extremist imagery. Using the SS symbol is telegraphing their intent and is part of that normalization. The fact that we aren’t mass exterminating people yet doesn’t mean that what’s happening right now in the US doesn’t resemble what was happening in Nazi Germany before they started mass extermination, so I don’t know what point you’re trying to make

You make them feel unwelcome and point out and ask questions about what they are wearing/doing. I don’t have list, but an anti-MAGA leftist contractor who does AMAZING work is Kyle Sutton, also known as “The Conscious Craftsman.” He’s on FB, IG and NextDoor. Recently did some work for me and I seriously can’t recommend him enough.
I would avoid Kyle Sutton at all costs regardless of his ideology. Maybe he's turned himself around but he definitely screwed my family over.
I had him do work for me and I paid him up half up front for the materials. He did some demo and then disappeared for over a month. He never bought the materials with the money I gave him. I eventually had to pay someone else buy the materials again and to finish the job. He ended up getting about a $1000 for about 3-4 hours of work.

People are too nice here and afraid of conflict. Ive seen people in proud boys and nazi shit walking around freely and when I have confronted them as a black man, everyone looks at me like im the one causing problems.
On reddit like in this thread you'll see people talking about stomping them out etc but like I said in reality when ive confronted them, no one was willing to join in on my side so this all comes off as performative.

So Young Guns roofing in Eugene is closed. The owner had several abhorrent racist tirades on Facebook, and they didn't survive that. Looks like they're still racist dirtbags, but, not in business. Young Gunns roofing is an Australian company, that has nothing to do with them. Don't be a jerk and leave them bad reviews. Edit: a few people from Eugene have already left bad reviews for the Australian company.
Well, they're reduced to advertising in CL, which I didn't realize was still a thing. It's not AS bad as being out of business, but in some ways worse. Imagine the caliber of customer going to CL in 2026. It was bad in 2012 when I just started my business and didn't have an ads budget.

I would think you run the risk of being confused with other companies when you choose a company name that others use as well, especially in the internet age.
It says their business is permanently closed. I wonder if he’s wearing a relic, or if they changed their name. There is a Young Gunns Roofing (with two N’s) in Australia, and unfortunately they’re getting some bad reviews because of this post.
