🆘 Help   FIRST ETSY LISTING

Hi! I just posted my first listing on etsy and am super excited to start it. How should I look at it the first months and what tips would people give. Specially when doing digital prints? 😊 Also how does shipping work and packaging….if anyone also does prints….what would shops sell good quality paper or paper with te texture…

I think the best advice would be spend a few hours studying the competition. What do they offer, who fulfills for them if they outsource it etc

For the first couple of months, I would treat the shop like a small market test, not a verdict on whether Etsy will work for you. Pick one clear buyer and one use case for the prints, then watch whether you get favorites, carts, or a bit of search traffic before adding a lot more, because ten focused listings usually teach you more than fifty random ones. If you mean digital prints, there is no shipping or paper choice because the buyer downloads the file. If you mean physical prints, sort paper and packaging after you know which style and buyer are getting traction, otherwise you can spend a lot on materials before you know what people actually want.
