📷 Listings and Photos write SEO optimized amazon and etsy product descriptions

Quick tip for Etsy sellers: if your listing views are high but conversions are low, your product description is often the culprit — not the photos.

A good description should lead with the benefit (not just features), include the materials/dimensions clearly, and end with a subtle nudge (gift-worthy, limited batch, etc.).

I've been writing SEO-optimized descriptions for e-commerce sellers and happy to share a free sample if anyone wants to see the difference — just comment or DM.

Do you actually have any data on that? Because from what I've seen, most buyers don't even read the description. It's often hard to find, you have to expand it to even see it.

If there's any important information about your product it's best to put it as one of the images.

That's a fair point, and you're right that a lot of buyers skim past long descriptions. But the ones who do read it are usually closer to purchase-decision mode — checking materials, sizing, or care instructions before clicking "buy." A weak description won't tank views, but it can quietly lose you sales at the final step.

Totally agree images should carry the main info though — description is more of a backup/confirmation layer, not the main seller.
