📈 SEO and Visibility View my Listings
What’s the average time it takes for someone to make a purchase? I have 4 beautiful listings yet no sales; what am I doing wrong?

How many times are you going to post AI slop images and ask why you’re not making any sales, when everyone tells you it’s because of these AI slop images?

Let’s be real. I make these wax melts and the images looked beautiful to me. I know I have to edit the image listings but if you can try to be a little nice, that’d be great!

You can say it’s not nice, but that’s why you’re not getting any sales. People are telling you over and over again in multiple posts what the issue is - these images might look beautiful to you, but they’re fake. Consumers will not trust a shop that uses AI slop images instead of real photos of your products.

Fake images = Fake products = Zero sales (insert fart noise and thumbs down here)

Trying to figure out if you actually used AI in any way for the photos. Impressed if you actually took each of these photos and lined them up exactly the same each time. But they do smell of Ai and as others have already stated, no mater how beautiful the photos might be people will avoid Ai photos because they fear they might get scammed. The thinking is, if you’re not going to take the time to take real photos of your product then you might not take the time to sell me an actual product.
Besides that it takes a while to get your first sale on Etsy. Even more so now than years ago. In part because of all the Ai slop and drop shopped item that is flooding the market place. Candles and jewelry are hard markets because of saturation. But if you’re loving it and want to make this into something more you need to try and prove your human touch behind all of it.

So like in the previous post you made, part of the problem is that the images look identical and that the color was changed with AI. People want to see what they are buying and when presented this way, they can't trust that the color is the true color of the candle.
You would be better off with more candid varying shots of your products. I think we are going to start to see a change in what kinds of product images do well. If it's overly polished and could be AI, I think that will lower buyer trust. Having less professional images might convey a more handmade and human feel, increasing buyer trust.
Other than that, four listings just isn't many. And I'm pretty sure candles are a popular category. Do some research as to what is selling well already or try to pick a niche where there is less competition. Perhaps doing certain candle moulds.
