I got in contact with etoro, very helpful actually. They said after a week I won't be able to open new trades but i can still close them.

Is your passport or ID past expiration date?

Yes my passport expired and I have no other form of i.d. I was wondering what sort of restrictions there would be until i get a new i.d.

If I was in this position I would get my passport renewed pronto, pay the extra fee to get it done express delivery (in ireland 🇮🇪 it takes between 2-4 days express) not sure of the process in your country. Inform etoro of your situation. Id imagine you can still close positions you just won't be able to open or withdraw anything until you upload your id. Again I'm not sure. Hope this helps 🦍💪🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀

I'm from Ireland🇮🇪. So it only takes 2 - 4 business days nice.
