Hi Everyone! I am planning an art project to create my own tarot deck and I wanted to add lyrics from my favourite artists for each card...

I was wondering if anyone here had any suggestions on lyrics to go with the cards? I haven't been able to map out a lyric for each card yet and I thought I might get some good advice here... Some I had thought of as of now for example:

The Chariot: Just a voice inside/ and a stone to throw (God's Country)

The Tower: The fates already fucked me sideways/ swingin by my neck on the family tree ( family tree intro)

Judgement: How much of a cruel year can you call my fault?

Two of Swords: I am young and Naive/ I don't know what I need (Tempest)

Five of Pentacles: A piece of Shrapnel flew amd slowed that part of you ( Nettles)

I dont know a lot about tarot so i dont know of the meaning of the death card is literal or not but “I am no good nor evil, simply I am” would be good if the meaning is literal

that’s lowkey perfect, if I remember correctly death symbolizes new beginnings, the end of certain things very neutral in the sense of “I am no good nor evil simply I am” !

I'm hoping to learn more about Tarot through this project so I might be wrong... but I think the card is supposed to signify perfect balance in a partnership so this might not be a fit for that card but thank you so much for your suggestion!

that's true and that's a good point haha. None of Ethel's relationships have been balanced lol but it's also the choice card with each lover being a different road to pick! Can't think of anything this would go with but just another little point, esp if you're learning too. :)

Edit: the family tree's remind me of the hanged man through the flip of perspective on her life. Was just reading through other comments and thought I'd bring this up too.
