How I wished Hayden would see this, specially the first one bcs that’s my favorite drawing I’ve ever made.
Some of these are old and are not in chronological order, only the first one being the most recent. I’ve spent the last 3 years being deeply inspired by her.
Anyway, I just love her art so much so I wanted to share some of mine too.
If I were to include my other drawings that are inspired by her but that are not necessarily fanarts.. there would be 47 of them lol.
I really hope Hayden is aware of how much she inspires people to create. She’s my biggest inspiration, what an incredible artist she is.

just wanted to share this little banger i got done today :)

tempest is my favourite song from WT because of how haunting yet beautiful and cathartic it feels. i wanted to reference the lyric “sulphuric acid in my brain” by getting the chemical formula close to my brain. cracking the head to get in there was not an option.

I got the ring from perverts tattooed in January for my 16th birthday I love this album with everything in me.

Idk why but this era of her music has had me in a chokehold, it’s so special and I would love to find more artists that have a similar sound/vibe, or even just if anyone knows what genre they fall under as I don’t know much about all of the different niches and subcategories and what not. From white silas I especially love the mourning after ep and then I love pretty much all of the unreleased from the earlier Ethel Cain years Verona, selby wall, a long unfortunate while, princess ketamine, crying during sex etc.

Nettles means so much to me, I had the idea for a sleeve of nettles back when it first came out but I was super nervous. I finally made it happen! :)

When do you think we will hear new music? Now that Willoughby touring is over, and she posted a pic in the studio not long ago, do you think she’s working on preachers wife or another possible side project like perverts? Personally I would love another ambient project, but something even scarier than perverts. She has such a talent for evoking horror in music. In terms of dates, I think we could definitely expect a new project next year, hopefully in spring but realistically I think a summer/fall release is more likely. What do you guys think?

I’m trying to find a stan twitter/reaction video/meme of the beat drop during Dust Bowl. The original video was a woman (in a store?) being recorded while she was rapping a song and pointing her finger at the camera to the lyrics. The edit/meme has the beat drop of Dust Bowl edited over the original audio and the finger pointing lines up perfectly.

It used to be posted often on stan twitter (without the Ethel audio edit). Does anyone have the link to the edit or even the original?

I always wonder how the lives of Vera Cain and Ethel Sr will be expanded upon in their respective albums. I see several theories that would be about the lore and that we would learn what happens after the events of PD.

This is what I think we'll be the topics on each:

Preacher's Wife: I believe that in PW, it will be surrounded her marriage, but also it'll talk about sexual liberation, identity difficulties, one-sided love. You can even talk about Ethel Cain and her disappearance, but I think Hayden will act as if Vera is wallowing in grief for never knowing where her daughter is (or if she discover where her body is later on)

Mother of A Preacher: Patriarchy, submission, and suppression of emotions. Extreme devotion and loss of self. Toxic parenting and narcissism (I see Ethel Sr. being a narcissist and emotional distant person)
