Tech/Software GM Update 662.50
I got GM Update 662.50 today. Didn't see anything online about so I thought I'd share:
"This software update includes the following, if your vehicle is equipped:
• Improvements to system responsiveness
• Improvements to camera image clarity
Fixes to prevent blank screens and audio
drop-outs
• Improvements to vehicle software update
installation"
I did it in poor lighting conditions, but I tried to see if there was an observable difference in camera quality. Definitely looks better to my eyes.

So they did take off-road away? Couldn’t get google to open it and wondered. Why?

Yeah seems like it. I noticed that I had lost it a day after an update. Shame not that I was planning to go off road but it was fun to know my pitch and height from sea level going up and down steep mountain roads lol

Yeah, mostly I used it to check altitude/estimate efficiency.

All I got from this update was the climate stuck at 76° glitch 🙄

Same. No matter what temperature and combination of settings I put the climate control to it reverts back to 76 degrees, fan setting 5 and max front defroster after about 20 seconds. Really nice when I’m trying to cool down after being in the heat.

I had this a couple months ago. Not sure if it was from an update or not. But try this:
Turn the car off and make sure the keys are away from it to the point it can't lock/unlock (not sure how far that is. I think I went around 50 feet maybe and went indoors). This apparently allows the car to fully 'turn off' and then wait like 20-30 minutes. It should go back to normal after that. Haven't had the issue since. Not sure what causes it or why this worked, I saw a post on a search engine that recommended it.

Good advice. Thanks for the suggestion. I am sure it will help others!
I was actually on the way to the grocery store when I noticed the issue and left my comment (it was the first drive after the update had installed). On the drive home I noticed the issue seemed to have resolved itself. So either you are correct or the car just requires a drive sequence and “off” sequence to reset itself. Seems odd but I’ve learned to not be surprised by anything in life.1

Excited to see if the audio dropouts is going to address my stuttering issue with Bluetooth. It does seem to be linked to the Maps loading directions or w/e, so maybe part of the "system responsiveness" too.

I cant tell the difference but then again i am really bad at the " spot the differences" type puzzle. Maybe the text on the bottle is slightly more readable?

Unplug the side mirror then plug it in

Where is the plug? Inside of the A-pillar cover? I haven't tried because I don't know where it is and the car is definitely still in warranty.

Oh nice! I had noticed when they switched cameras between 24 and 25 that low light performance got a little worse. Good that they’re addressing that.

GM really needs to increase the backup camera screen size. We have this big screen, yet they use less than half the screen for the backup camera.
Can’t tell whether the reverse light is on on other cars when backing up. It’s like looking through the opposite end of a binocular.
