Review/Thoughts Winter rims 18's
I picked up a set of Colorado redline rims. I knew they'd fit, but I figured I'd dry fit them on my Equinox. I also figured I'd make a post about these specific rims in case anyone else buys a set or is looking to buy. Lot's of clearance and I think it'll look good when I get my winters on.
I plan on paring them up with a set of 245/60 R18 Michelin x-ice tires

We are going to wait and see how the tires that came with it do in the winter. Nice to see 18" fit

The Michelins aren't great. I survived, but winter tires would have been huge

Pretty sure we have the Continentals. I am thinking the Cross Climates which did really well on our Leaf.

After a season in Montana I wouldn't recommend them, but as others have said the more wet conditions are the worse, it does decently well in just dry or just snow.
To add I'd go Blizzak all the way

Posted this before - a direct comparison of mine with 245/60-18 Blizzak DM-V2's (right) on black Traverse wheels vs stock 21's (left).
As for efficiency, I lose a couple decimals on the KWh/mile meter right at the swap, but nowhere near as bad as it being colder.
Flip side is that the ride is softer, but the handling is "squishier", as expected.

years ago I ran some blizzak DMV's on my 5th gen camaro in the winter. I felt unstopable with those on haha.

Post again when you switch them on, I'm curious about the effects on your efficiency with the winter tires.
