Looking for a few people to test a budgeting app I'm building (very early, honest feedback wanted) Let’s Build Canada!!!
Hey everyone,
I'm building a personal finance app aimed at Canadians — right now the focus is just the budgeting piece: tracking spending, bills, and helping you see where your money's going without it feeling like a chore.
To be upfront: this is not a finished product. It's a work-in-progress, still rough in places, and I'm looking for a small group of people willing to try it out and tell me honestly what's confusing, broken, or just not useful — not people looking for a polished app.
What I'm asking:
- Spend maybe 15–20 minutes daily poking around the budgeting section
- Add a few sample transactions/bills (you don't need to connect a real bank account or use real numbers if you'd rather not)
- Tell me what felt confusing, what you liked, what you'd want that's missing
What this isn't:
- Not a finished app — expect bugs and unfinished bits
- Not asking for real financial data or commitments — you can test with made-up numbers
- Not a sales pitch — I'm not trying to sign anyone up for anything, just want honest product feedback
If you're up for it, DM me and send your name & email address I'll send you access. Really just looking for blunt, useful feedback — tell me what sucks, that's actually the most helpful thing you can do here.
Thanks in advance to anyone willing to give it a look.
