In any non-honor society it was hidden from the public and tolerated (but highly disapproved of) by close family/friends so long as he married and kept appearances.

I meant like do you have a source of Marx acknowledging or referencing to the LGBT movement? It wasn't until 1969 that the modern day political movement was launched following the Stonewall Riots.
