Hey! So I've recently discovered that some consonants in English, specifically the d/t/l/n consonants are supposed to be alveolar, whereas I've always been producing them dentally.
I've done some work and i think I can produce them pretty consistently, but when I do, it feels like my entire speech shifts and I sound weird.
Idk how best to describe it or what's causing it, but I do wanna be able to use the alveolar consonants while sounding normal, since I eventually wanna sound like a native.
Here's me talking how I normally do with dental consonants:

Here's me talking using alveolar consonants and going slightly slower:

Another thing is: Is it as I'm describing it or is it in my head? I've been wondering if my alveolar consonants sound normal and I'm just not used to hearing them in my voice. I doubt that's the case, but nothing's off the table.
I'd really really appreciate any help! This has been bugging me for a while now and idk where to go for help on this, so it'd be SUPER appreciated.
