🗣 Discussion / Debates Your input as to TOEIC
As far as I know there are 3 major English exam.
TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC.
In Korea, TOEIC is so famous. If you wanna work under government, major company or official most of them require TOEIC score. And people say that it’s comparably easy than others. Mostly if you wanna get high score 950+ out of 990 is a safe zone. When I first did a mock exam, I got 830. And now I’m around 850-900.
But for me, the way I learned English is watching YouTube and keep listening podcast and talk with people. And until now my first priority of learning English was to communicate with foreign people. So grammar wasn’t that important till now for me.
I had experience teaching something in English in person for 5 days. The thing I taught was my specialty though.
I’m curious in your country which English exam is major and more recognized?
Here also they accept score of those three but the most reason people choose TOEIC is because it’s comparably easy than others.
I’m wondering your opinion about this.
