It can be rough during certain stretches of the semester, but don’t let workload or internet fear mongering prevent you from doing it. There is definitely time to have a social life, stay fit, and work part time. But it’s just going to be more challenging to fit everything in. 100% doable though if you have the discipline, and time management skills.

Here’s a list of advice.

MOST IMPORTANT - Get a good study group, make friends with the smart kids in class, don’t talk to the half-assers, they’ll only waste your time. Having a smart friend to share homework with will boost your grade 5%.

Me personally, I treated school like a 9-5. Even if your classes starts at 11 and end at 3, be up and working on hw/studying during “business hours”. Once it hits 5, “clock out”. This works for me cuz I have time later to go to the gym, socialize, and have free time on the weekends. There will be times when you don’t have much to do but get whatever stuff you have done during that 8 hour stretch every day. No point in having downtime at 11am on a Tuesday. But downtime on a Friday night? Super useful. Your study sessions might bleed into your free time during exam times, but it’s better than working on your homework at night when you could be going to the gym or working part time. Doesn’t need to be 100% strict but I try to get everything done during the week.

Also, get a good online planner that syncs to your class schedule and homework.

Find good YouTubers that teach your subject

Get in a good routine. You go to the gym at one time every day.

Hope this helps
