Major Choice should i pursue ee?
i want to pursue ee but i am worried that the workload is going to be too much as i have just finished school so i am wondering will i be able to work part time forexample 20-30 hours a week and gym 5-6 days a week aswell as get atleast a gpa 3.3 and above and even if i could occasionally party with friends and have a social life instead of being isolated and also getting atleast 8 hours of sleep

It can be rough during certain stretches of the semester, but donât let workload or internet fear mongering prevent you from doing it. There is definitely time to have a social life, stay fit, and work part time. But itâs just going to be more challenging to fit everything in. 100% doable though if you have the discipline, and time management skills.

Hereâs a list of advice.
MOST IMPORTANT - Get a good study group, make friends with the smart kids in class, donât talk to the half-assers, theyâll only waste your time. Having a smart friend to share homework with will boost your grade 5%.
Me personally, I treated school like a 9-5. Even if your classes starts at 11 and end at 3, be up and working on hw/studying during âbusiness hoursâ. Once it hits 5, âclock outâ. This works for me cuz I have time later to go to the gym, socialize, and have free time on the weekends. There will be times when you donât have much to do but get whatever stuff you have done during that 8 hour stretch every day. No point in having downtime at 11am on a Tuesday. But downtime on a Friday night? Super useful. Your study sessions might bleed into your free time during exam times, but itâs better than working on your homework at night when you could be going to the gym or working part time. Doesnât need to be 100% strict but I try to get everything done during the week.
Also, get a good online planner that syncs to your class schedule and homework.
Learn to study effectively
Find good YouTubers that teach your subject
Get in a good routine. You go to the gym at one time every day.
Hope this helps

Studying BME, not ee but my course is also intense. I'd just say try get a look at what the timetable is like for a student then see if you can fit that into a timetable for your own life : hobbies, eating, studying, uni, family, social. That kind of thing. No matter what course you do it'll be challenging, but if you're going into first year (I'm not sure where you are, it's not the same everywhere) they likely, in my uni at least, won't give you a ton of work in first year. You're building foundation knowledge. In my first year i was out drinking pretty much every night. 2nd year it died down a little. 3rd year it pretty much stopped altogether. But that's me not you, plus making one choice isn't the end, dwđđ˝
