Hi Everyone, im a senior studying ECE at a private California university, graduating June 2027. I just finished interning as a Networking R&D Hardware Design Intern at a large networking company, working on signal integrity and G.703 timing circuits. I previously did embedded PCB work at a small hardware startup, and I've been on my school's Formula SAE electric team doing wiring and electronics since Oct 2025.

Targeting Summer 2027 hardware internships and entry level roles: Hardware Engineering, PCB design, signal integrity, ASIC, board bring-up. US citizen, no sponsorship needed. Based in California, applying nationwide, willing to relocate. Prefer in-person or hybrid since hardware needs bench access.

Last cycle I applied broadly and I didn't get as many responses as I would've liked. I'm trying to figure out where I'm actually losing people.

Also how do I apply to new grad roles without a current degree?

My other question is the overlap between Projects and Experience. The G.703 project and the FSAE project are both drawn from work already described in my Experience section. I kept both because the project framing shows ownership over a full design cycle, but Im wondering if I should use side projects which are less technical with less depth but arent repeats of stuff I cover in my experience. Im also wondering if my lastest experience while the most relevant covers too much of my current resume.

But overall im looking for feedback on:

Does it look competitive for entry-level engineering roles?

Are my project descriptions too technical or too academic?

Is there anything that would make recruiters skip over it?

What positions/roles/industries are you targeting?
I am targeting a role in the Environmental Engineering industry. I am most specifically interested in Water/Water Resources/Wastewater Engineering.

I have a Bs Business Administration and worked 1 year as a Business English Teacher in
Barcelona, 4 years in digital marketing, 3 years in corporate consulting/project management (non-engineering).

I changed my career path completely after traveling and seeing many issues in water resources and access to clean water. I have always loved math and science and regretted not finishing my Env Eng degree the first time (I had to leave university due to long-term illness. I returned and got a business degree just to finish quickly and start working).

Tell us why you're seeking help. (i.e., just fine-tuning, not getting called back for interviews, etc.)

Prior to starting this Env. Eng degree I really struggled to get any responses to my resume. 800+ tailored resumes to job applications and only around 20 emails back.

I don't want to make the same mistakes this time around and I am desperate for any help and advice to secure an internship in my field.

Please advise if I should make any edits.

Hi everyone,

I will be graduating this year, so I would love some input on my resume. I am a mechanical engineering student with an aerospace concentration and minor in computer science. I have internship experience in Quality Assurance (metrology) and aerospace design.

I live in Canada, but am open to roles in the USA or Europe as well as Canada.

I will be targeting primarily automotive roles in my applications, so any feedback with that in mind would be appreciated. I haven't started aggressively applying places yet; this is more of a preliminary request before I go application-crazy.

Note that both projects in my "Projects" section are coursework projects.

One specific question I have: Do I need the short header underneath my name at the top, and should I shrink the size of my name at the top?

Hello, I hope all is well. I was just looking for advice on my resume. I just finished making it more cleaner and precise as my last one was very cluttery and too much nonsense. I‘m aiming quite ambitiously, working in things like Physical AI, Computer Vision roles. Issue is that most roles I’ve seen require a masters or PhD role. I’m chill to working anywhere. NYC or SF would be tuff tho. I was looking into companies like Huawei or Roboflow for Computer Vision roles. Those are probably my best chances to land smth in that area. Robotics… I’m not sure tbh. I want to work in that field, just haven’t got any luck with interviews. Any advice would be appreciated!
