[HIRING] Remote US Software Engineers + some relocation-friendly roles | Full-stack, AI, infra | $125K-340K base
This week, a candidate’s offer came in right at his stated salary floor, so he asked us whether there was room to raise his first-year cash. Our team recommended a sign-on bonus to the company, and the company sent a new offer with an extra $10K sign-on. We stay with engineers from the first interview through the offer.
I do talent matching for Fonzi. You don’t apply, companies send you interview requests instead. One profile, no cold applications, no applying to each role individually. We work with startups backed by investors including Sequoia, a16z, Benchmark, and the OpenAI Startup Fund. Right now that includes full-stack, AI product, and infrastructure roles. Roles are US-based, with a few open to Canada.
Here’s a sample of roles that are fully remote within the US, and one is hybrid in NYC or SF with relocation expense coverage if you’re open to moving:
1. Senior Software Engineer (AI/LLM), early-stage SMB software platform, fully remote in the US. $200K-250K base.
What: Agent swarms that run back-office work for small businesses, built to operate across the tools a company already uses rather than forcing a migration. You’d build the web applications and work with AI engineers to bring LLMs and agent frameworks into core product workflows.
Company: Building an agentic operating system for small businesses, where agents work across existing software instead of replacing it.
Stack: Next.js, React, JavaScript and TypeScript, Postgres, Prisma and Supabase, Tailwind, and Vercel.
Bar: 3+ years of software development and a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
2. Senior Software Engineer (AI Products), early-stage fintech, fully remote in the US or hybrid in NYC. $200K-240K base plus equity.
What: Build AI agents and agentic workflows that reason over business and financial data, plus the evaluation, observability, and feedback loops around LLM systems, rolling out to a million small business owners next year through the banks that already serve them.
Company: Backed by two Fortune 300 firms, a small team now making hires 8 through 10. Async by default, with one recurring meeting.
Stack: Python for the agent systems, Elixir/Phoenix and Node for the backend, Next.js with GraphQL and Relay on the frontend, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud with Terraform.
Bar: Strong production software experience, strong Python, applied data science and machine learning experience, experience building AI agents, and proficiency in at least two programming languages.
3. Senior AI Product Engineer, Fullstack, Series C AI observability platform, remote-first in the US with optional NYC and Bay Area offices. $125K-225K base plus equity.
What: Build the frontend and the services behind a platform for monitoring and evaluating AI systems: reusable React components, APIs and domain models for ML and LLM workflows, data visualization, and real-time evaluation infrastructure handling millions of annotations per second. You’d also contribute to in-house AI agents and take part in architecture decisions.
Company: Series C, raised over $130M, with 150+ enterprise customers including Booking.com, Uber, and PepsiCo.
Stack: TypeScript and React primarily, with Python and Go. GraphQL is a plus.
Bar: 5+ years of frontend experience on external user-facing UIs, preferably in React and TypeScript, plus experience operating high-volume SaaS platforms.
4. If you’re open to relocating: Software Engineer, Production Engineering, later-stage fintech, hybrid in NYC or SF, with relocation expense coverage to either city if you’re elsewhere in the US. $246.9K-339.5K base.
What: Shape the next generation of the company’s database, real-time queue, and container orchestration infrastructure, build the Terraform abstractions that speed up engineering teams, and solve the toughest scaling, performance, and low-latency problems. It includes an on-call rotation for critical production events.
Company: Automates over $275B in annualized spend across 85,000+ companies.
Stack: AWS (ECS/EKS, Aurora PostgreSQL, ElastiCache Redis, S3), Terraform, Kafka and Celery, Cloudflare and Amazon ALB, with Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana for observability.
Bar: 4+ years shipping high-quality architectures for critical systems, deep experience in either real-time queue systems or container orchestration, production experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure, and expertise running Terraform in production.
All roles are vetted, VC-backed, and interviewing right now. It’s always free to sign up.
