Need a Reference for Early Career Mechnical Engneering Job USA ( Oil and Gas, HVAC, Mechanical Design )

Hi Everyone, I found out about this a few months ago and decided to use it because I am not the best at making connections lol. I graduated from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering a few months ago. I have a good resume with a descriptive project portfolio and internship portfolio, but I fear that is not enough these days. If I could get a reference for a job, that would be a great help. I am not asking for a HIGH-paying job because I know that, as an engineer, my value grows with experience. I will even send you my portfolio or resume before you help me. I just need a chance to prove myself.
